COMPETITIVE INSULATING PRODUCTS

CoolCar Ceramic applied to a vehicle requires only 40 to 60 mils thickness.  It can be applied with an AR-1 spray gun or a brush.

---Competitive insulation's are 1/2 to 1 inch in thickness and must be glued.

CoolCar Ceramic is applied with on continuous coating, leaving no seams or separations to allow heat, sound or moisture to enter.

---Competitive insulation have seams and open areas which allow heat and noise to transfer to the cars interior.

CoolCar Ceramic can insulate the whole body of the vehicle, including ribs, not just panel sections.  This is not only critical for hot and cold, but is even more critical for acoustical purposes.  This enables CoolCar Ceramic to absorb noise energy and block noise attenuation picked up from the tire and road noise.  This also helps to improve the stereo sound system even more.

---Competitive/conventional insulation cannot effectively insulate the ribs and non-flat surfaces of the vehicle which minimizes its effectiveness.

CoolCar Ceramic adheres directly to the surface of the vehicle.  It does not require adhesives that will come loose from vibration and heat.  CoolCar Ceramic is applied in one easy application.

---Competitive products generally have materials in them that absorb moisture which in turn can cause rust and corrosion inside the vehicle.  Also, once the insulation gets wet, it is no longer effective insulation for hot, cold or sound.  Competitive products should not be applied to the inside of doors or side panels because they can collect moisture, rot, mold and mildew and cause rust to the door panels.

CoolCar Ceramic is water resistant, thus it does not accumulate moisture.  CoolCar Ceramic adheres directly to the surface of the vehicle, thus becoming a corrosion inhibitor without the accumulation of moisture which makes it excellent for insulating door panels.

---Competitive products have adhesives that are needed to apply and hold other insulation products.  The adhesives contain toxic chemicals and are expensive.  Additionally, the other insulation products do not insulate the whole vehicle, only sections of the vehicle.

CoolCar Ceramic is price competitive with the pad or blanket insulation yet much lighter and has better coverage.  In many cases CoolCar Ceramic is actually cheaper and more effective with better insulation and acoustical results.

CoolCar Ceramic is very light once cured.  Approximately 3.1 pound per gallon at 40 mils thick, that is approximately .15 pounds per square foot.
